Kayne Anderson Rudnick Earns #3 Ranking on Barron’s Top Independent Advisor List

Spuds Powell, Managing Director of Kayne Anderson Rudnick (KAR), and the KAR Wealth Advisory Team have earned the #3 placement on Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisor list for 2024, up two positions from last year’s ranking. This is the 12th consecutive year Powell, a Barron’s ‘Hall of Fame’ advisor, and the KAR Wealth Advisory Team have ranked within the Top 10, including five years ranked first overall (2017-2020, 2022).

The ranking reflects quantitative data such as volume of assets overseen by the advisors and their teams, revenues generated for the firms, and client retention. A range of qualitative factors are also considered, including the advisors’ experience, their advanced degrees and industry designations, the size, shape, and diversity of their teams, charitable and philanthropic work, and compliance records.

Since 1984, Kayne Anderson Rudnick has aimed to serve its clients by adhering to its original principles of wealth preservation and innovative ideas, embracing research, and maintaining a strong focus on quality in both business practices and investment strategies.

The KAR Wealth Advisory Team have additionally been recognized on the following industry lists over the last 12 months: AdvisorHub 2024 Advisors to Watch, Forbes 2024 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors, Forbes 2023 Top RIA Firms, and InvestmentNews 2024 Top Advisors.

The 2024 “Top 100 Independent Advisors” ranking was given by Barron’s in September 2024 and covers the year 2024. KAR has not paid fees to Barron’s to obtain or participate in the ranking. The firm has paid a fee for a license to reprint and market the results of the ranking.

The Barron’s Hall of Fame Advisor Award was issued in October 2022.  KAR has not paid a fee to participate in the award or to reprint and distribute the result of the award.

The 2024 “200 RIAs to Watch” ranking was given by AdvisorHub in July 2024 and covers the year 2024. The 2024 “250 Advisors to Watch Under $1 Bil” ranking was given by AdvisorHub in July 2024 and covers the year 2024. KAR has not paid fees to AdvisorHub to obtain or participate in the ranking. The firm has paid a fee to license use of the award logo and market the results of the ranking and also purchased a plaque for the recipients.

The 2024 “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” ranking was given by Forbes in April 2024 and covers the year 2024. KAR has not paid fees to Forbes to obtain or participate in the ranking. The firm has paid a fee to license use of the award logo and market the results of the ranking.

The 2024 “Top Advisor” award was given by InvestmentNews in November 2023 and covers the year 2024. KAR has not paid fees to InvestmentNews to obtain or participate in the award. The firm has paid a fee to license use of the award logo and market the results of the award.

The 2023 “Top RIA Firms” ranking was given by Forbes in October 2023 and covers the year 2023. KAR has not paid fees to Forbes to obtain or participate in the ranking. The firm has paid a fee to license use of the award logo and market the results of the ranking.
